Forum about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to Be Held in India
According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the plan to hold the event was discussed in a meeting of Allama Arif Hussein Wahedi, member of Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology and secretary general of the country’s Islamic Movement, with Ali Aqanouri, head of the Iranian Culture House in Rawalpindi.
Allama Wahedi in this meeting talked about the measures taken to develop relations with Pakistani Sunni scholars and stressed the necessity of unity among Shia scholars of Pakistan’s Islamic movement and Sunni groups in the country.
The Iranian official also stressed the importance of strengthening unity and cooperation among Muslims.
He said that the Iranian Culture House in Rawalpindi will host the forum on December 28, adding that it will be attended by eminent Muslim figures.
