Funeral Held for Ahvaz Terror Attack Martyrs
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A funeral procession was held Monday for those killed two days earlier in a terrorist attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz.
During a military parade in Ahvaz, which was staged concurrently with nationwide military parades on Saturday to mark the Sacred Defense Week, Takfiri militants wearing disguise opened fire at the people participating in the ceremony.
The attack killed 25 people and wounded more than 60 others.
The Al-Ahvaziya terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
