People in Different Countries Voice Solidarity with Palestine
On Saturday, thousands of Tunisians demonstrated in the capital Tunis.
Carrying flags of Palestine and photos of Al-Aqsa Mosque, they demanded a law be passed that criminalizes normalization of ties with the Zionist regime.
They also chanted slogans in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and al-Quds.
In Iraq, several rallies were held in Baghdad and a number of southern cities at the invitation of prominent cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.
Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and condemned Israeli crimes.
They also set Israeli flags on fire and denounced stances of some Arab governments on the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinians.
Qatar also hosted a program on Saturday night in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Hundreds of Qataris and expatriates took part in the program, organized at the invitation of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS).
The participants chanted slogans in support of Palestine and condemnation of Israel.
In the Indian-administered Kashmir, police arrested 20 people attended a demonstration held in solidarity with Palestinian.
Police claimed freedom of expression exists in the region but inciting violence in streets is against the law.
Participants in a similar rally in Morocco’s capital of Rabat demanded an immediate halt to Israeli aggression against the oppressed people of Palestine.
Pakistan’s southern city of Karachi was also the scene of a rally in support of Palestine on Saturday.
