Educational Course on Tajweed Principles Underway in Finland

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A series of educational courses on reading the Holy Quran and Tajweed principles is held by “Resalat-e Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS)” Islamic Center in Finland.

 According to the information website of the center, the Quranic classes are held every Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

The center has also organized courses on Arabic language and Islamic injunctions for teenagers.
Special programs on religious occasions, Friday prayers and religious sessions are among other activities of the center.
Founded in the capital, Helsinki, ten years ago, it is the only Shia Islamic center in Finland with 1000 officially registered members.
The center recently opened Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA) Mosque as the only Shia mosque in the city and the first Shia library in Finland.
“Salam”, the only Islamic magazine in the Northern European country has also been published by the center for six years.
