Elderly Quran Memorizers to Be Honored in Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Three old women who succeeded to memorize the entire Quran will be honored in a ceremony planned by the Charity Association of Quran Memorization in ‘Afif Province, Saudi Arabia.

 According to alweeam website, the ceremony will be organized to honor female students of the association who have learned the Holy Quran by heart.

Among them are three memorizers of the entire Quran aged above 70.
The ceremony will be held on December 9 at the Center of Heritage affiliated to the Education Office of the province.
One of the three said in an interview that it took her 13 years to memorize the entire Quran with the help of God.
The Charity Association of Quran Memorization in ‘Afif Province has 10 branches in the province and other parts of the country.
It has held more than 50 Quran memorization courses and trained 803 Quran researchers and 63 memorizers of the entire Quran.
