The Iranian university on Tuesday opened registration for those willing to take part in the contest.
It will be organized in cooperation with Najaf Islamic University with the aim of enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries’ academic centers.
Slated for June 1, the competition will have three categories, namely Quran recitation, Tarteel and memorization of the entire Quran.
Al-Zahra is a female-only public university in Tehran. It is the only comprehensive women’s university in Iran and the Middle East.
