Quranic Campaign Launched in Support of Gaza Children
Al-Kawthar TV is an Arabic-language channel within the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting’s World Service.
Titled Hamlat al-Kawthar al-Quaniya”, the campaign has been inspired by Verse 28 of Surah Ar-Raad of the Holy Quran:
“… those who believe, and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. Is it not with the remembrance of Allah that hearts are satisfied.”
Somayyeh Morovati, director of the children’s and young adults department, said the campaign aims to bring the voice of Palestinian children and heroes to the world.
She said there has been a special focus on Palestinian kids in the network’s children programs since the launch of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation by the Hamas resistance movement.
She called on children and young adults to participate in the campaign by sending videos of their recitation of the verse in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.
