Effects of Belief in God’s Justice
Believing in God’s justice will have three major influences on individuals’ growth and perfection:
1) Self-control against sins: If individuals understand that all their deeds are being monitored and will be assessed for reward or punishment, they will not consider their presence in this world as unconditional. Therefore, they will try to control their desires and follow the path that their religion has shown.
2) Optimism and staying away from despair: An individual who believes in divine justice feels optimistic about the universe, does not become depressed after tragedies, and never feels hopeless.
3) Establishment of justice in personal and social life: One who believes in God’s justice is ready to accept justice in personal and social life.
